SUMMARY:Advanced Incident Management- ICS-400: (Closed Session for Grand Council Treaty 3 and IFNA)
DESCRIPTION:ICS-400\, Advanced Incident Management training and certificate for senior personnel and responders who are expected to perform in a management role in a complex incident environment rather than tactical. Expanding upon information covered in ICS-100 through ICS-300 courses\, ICS-400 emphasizes large-scale organizational development\, roles and relationships of the command and general staff\, and planning\, operational\, logistical\, and fiscal considerations related to large and complex incident and event management. The course also describes the application of Area Command and the importance of interagency coordination on complex incidents and events. Course participants will be better prepared to function as a supervisor in a larger incident or as a member of a Type 1 Incident Management Team. This advanced course also uses risk-based scenario tabletop activities to apply the curriculum. Custom scenarios may be developed for groups from a single organization. \n  \nSpecific Course Topics \n\nFundamentals review for Command and General Staff\nMajor and/or Complex Incident/Event Management\nArea Command\nMultiagency Coordination (MAC)\n\n  \nTarget Audience \nResponders who will serve as Command or General Staff in an ICS organization\, select department heads with multi-agency coordination system responsibilities\, area commanders\, emergency managers\, and multi-agency coordination system/emergency operations center managers for expanding or Type 1 & 2 incidents.
